It's not my fault people got their hopes up way too high and "expected" JM to sign with LSU. But there is no reason to cry about it, especially when we still have a top 5 class coming in and plenty of players coming back next season. If this really affects the way you go about your daily business, you need help.
Okay...enough people....we still have others to worry about.....tolliver, byrd....and another at 2 pmldskule:
Looking for all the anti-Christ posts but not seeing 'em. As far as it being the best decision for Joe, I hope it works out for him, but considering the depth and the possible probation of that school, you will be hard pressed to convince anyone here of that logic. And on the idea of LSU fans being hard on in-state recruits that go out of state. I think there are two main reasons behind this: 1) This is not the team of the 90's when a great player that wanted exposure and a chance to play for NC's had to leave the state. Things have changed in that department, and kids no longer have to leave. They really can stay and have it all. 2) And this reason runs far deeper and will simply never change because the spirit and tenacity of the LSU fans - the very thing that makes us the greatest in the country. "If you are not with us, you are against us." Anyone that does not suit up in P&G is Tigerbait and will never get nor do they deserve our love. That will simply never change. I think Joe is a quality kid, but if he ever steps on the field against us, he will be treated as an enemy. I also don't imagine the parents of future football stars in the state will forget this and wonder what role John Curtis had in this decision and will this affect his little dynasty? I think it will have lasting effects, long after Joe has moved on to the pros. As for this kid, I have nothing else to write about him, as the rest of our class is what counts and actually deserve our love today. :geauxtige
Some people did, you didn't. So respect the way those people feel right now. Nobody is crying. Some are disappointed...there's nothing wrong with that. It's called HUMAN EMOTION. Stop telling people how they should feel.
Don't be surprised if you get a red dot with one Jean Lafitte's name next to it. He seems to think that every tiger fan is top notch.
When is Tolliver scheduled to officially announce? Or is he even going to, since the story already broke?
