Because in the big scheme of things, it's not that big of a deal. Plus the fact I think holding a grudge against an 18 year old kid for his entire playing career because he didn't go where I wanted him to go is about as juvenile and immature as it gets.

Grow up. It royally sucks to lose the best player the state has produced in a very long time, maybe ever. He handled himself well and didnt do anything wrong like Davis. No need to trash him. I hate USC with a passion, but to trash him is ridiculous. They flat out win and recruit like no other college probably ever has. Also, Carroll plays freshman, I think that was a big factor. Plus he wanted to follow in Bushs footsteps. I cant imagine a kid from La NOT wanting to be a Tiger, but it happens. It sucks it was McKnight though, because he is of such a high magnitude. Still, this is a great class.

Maybe he wants to live in a different part of the country? Maybe in a bigger city? Likes the beach, their facilities, who knows??? Calling an 18-year-old kid a traitor is just strange.
