How can the LSU Defense improve so much over a 5 week period and the Offense only get worse over that same period? If not for a blow call the D would have possibly held flordia to 6 points.

Sometimes you need this to happen. I am sure after the UGA game, Miles thought the O was fine b/c they scored twice in the fourth. Though, must of us saw the issues. It is obvious the coaching staff ignored all the O problems.

This is their wake up call.

We will see if CLM can earn that check.

You're darn right; this better be the wakeup call. If us fans see the issues, I've got to believe the coaching staff sees them. The question is, what will CLM and staff do to rectify the offensive problems? I would hope that the realization has set in that they can't continue to do things the same way from here on out, and expect a different result.

This is what gets my goat. Every head coach has his specialty, and Offensive Line is Miles. The O Line should be solid considering Miles whole career has been about the Offense. He played O-Line at Michigan, coached O-Line at Colorado and Michigan. He coordinated at Okie St and coached Tight Ends at Dallas. If anyone can fix the problems, it should be Miles, hopefully he can get it done soon!

I had hope for significant imrpovement from our offense, but that has NOT been the case.

Remember last year, we had problems on defense all year and problems with interceptions that never got corrected.

We went all of last year without seeing any improvement from our defense, until the bowl game.

Unless Miles and Co jump in there and get the offensive issues fixed, we're in for a long 2nd half of the season.

I really, really hope I'm wrong, but I just don't see them getting our offense fixed.

We are in a tie for #109 with Rice in Total Offense. Confirms what we all suspected.
