Is anyone else getting the feeling that our offensive line is going to get exposed this weekend? Florida has the overall 2nd best Defense in the SEC. And they did a pretty good job on the 2 headed monster last weekend. Only gave up 165 rushing yards. I hope I am wrong, but LSU hasn't faced a defensive front like UF's yet. Jay Howard is a monster also, and Jefferson and his tendency to hold onto the ball too long....

I really hope our line holds up, but I just have a bad feeling all of the sudden.

I think you bring up an excellent point. We're going to have to stay committed to the run. Yards are going to be really tough this week.

I think we will stick with the run as long as the score is tight.

It's what we tried desperately to do last year. And it failed, unfortunately. We got past midfield only once I believe. That was brutal.

Don't really want to see a repeat of that. Fans are being duped into believing we so strong at running the ball, we can single-handedly control drives that way. We're not that good and Florida's D won't allow it.

You either sling it downfield or you face the wrath of 3rd and longs and inevitable turnovers.

At least go down swinging. That's all I ask.

We cannot rely on the run to pull a W out of this one. We have to have a modicum of a passing game to keep the Florida D honest! Otherwise, they will load the box and have a field day on our running game. I still believe we can win this game!

which means we need to run options (egad, I know) and get Shepard out on the ends (Ridley to for that matter)

Running it up the gut will prove to be fruitless, I'm afraid.

im more worried our defense will be much less effective with these bigger olines like Umeth and Ugump. we are fast but light up front.

And if we have to start playing from behind I do not like our chances.

the defensive stats may look a whole lot different once the season is over and my love for the chief will be reassessed.

i can almost deal with the abortion on offense if the defense ranks in the top 10 all year. i said almost.

Dont let us get manhandled up front once we start playing the heavyweights, jefe!

exactly, the matchup thats to our advantage is at tight end against their linebackers. We should have a want to get the ball to 19#
