Well, if they arent playing for us or contributing to the progam they cost us a scholly. To me thats a bust.
:geaux: I remember Zhamal Thomas and Jarvis Jones being kicked off the team for breaking rules, who were the other two? :LSU231:
Thomas and Giddens burglarized a student apartment. Anderson got into a bar fight with a student and got convicted of assault and battery. Jones' transgression they just said was a "violation of team rules". Failed a drug test maybe.
so you want the OL to play better because you are getting laughed at? here's hoping they dont give a flying f about bama fans or your tender psyche.
the point is that a lot of the talent (or potential talent) on the o-line has left for one reason or another...
From Dandy Don's recap of the Les Miles show last night: Chris asked if there would be any lineup changes for the Auburn game. Miles said he likes his team and believes that the best players have been playing. Charlie asked what is wrong with the offensive line. Miles said that not a lot is wrong with the OL. Miles said the OL will look much better once Jordan improves his foot work and once the team starts running the ball better. I am trying to stay positive, but both of these answers discourage me. What am I missing?
In fairness to Les, Jefferson has been taking a lot of unnecessary coverage sacks, especially in the Florida game, due in large part to the huge drops he takes in the pocket. At this point he seems afraid to step up in the pocket under pressure, and that does make the OL's job harder in pass protection. However, he has also taken a LOT of sacks from blown blocking assignments and linemen just getting beat, and that is what has to change. I agree, the personnel statement is troubling, unless Shepard is doing something at practice that is a big cause of concern for the staff.
Translation: I don't want to reveal any lineup changes, so I'm going to answer another question. Translation: I'm not going to blame the lack of offense on the quarterback. Really I'm not. Les plays his cards close to the vest. He always has.
See now you need to go to a CO2 class, talking garbage like that, I'm just telling it like it is and how I see it. The O line is not giving the kid time even scott is having trouble running the ball please explain it? what is it? by the way there is nothing wrong with the method of my madness, I tell it like it like is and don't pull no punches because I would rather have knots on my chest than on my back buddy and I can give a crap about what these people say but I will fight for my team. I don't think I mentioned anything in my post about me being laughed at you watch your mouth and get a life.
