Other than the offensive nature of the offense, what might the game plan look like for Bama?

We obviously need to establish the run, but we gotta pass the ball sometimes. We cannot afford any turnovers; are we talking something extremely simplified and only high percentage pass plays?

At least the D played better tonight, but we have to put points on the board and Lee right now does not exude much confidence.

    Is Lee ok?

99.9 percent chance the first play of the game won't be a pass by LSU.

Ultimately LSU will have to air it out or Bama will crowd the line. Play scared by protecting Lee from stupid mistakes and this offense will go absolutely nowhere.

Run Ridley three plays and punt. That won't stop them from scoring but will slow them down. Those Pick sixes are instant offense.

Scott and Williams to share 160 yards passing.

Agreed. But Bama will crowd the line like Florida did and dare us to pass.

If we come out with a "close to the vest don't let Lee make any mistakes" type of mentality, it will be a long and disgusting night.

we should take the dare to pass route. Id rather go down fighting with the running game than throw the pick sixes every series. Besides we were pushing UGA off the ball late in the game and had a chance if the yo yo in the press booth woulda KEPT calling runs. But he wanted to pass on second down and first down.

Forget it, we are not gonna run the ball down Bama's throat on every series, especially early in the game. On offense, LSU has gotta scheme against the blitz (screens, slipping out a RB, exploiting one-on-one matchups), and the receivers absolutely MUST help out Lee, which means yes, actually hauling in passes hitting them in the hands.

You can run it down their throats, punish them.
