I would like someone to take the game film of the 4th quarter of the Saints offense and the 4th quarter offense of the Giants and distribute it to every OC in the NFL and college ranks.. Their's your ultimate reference of what to do (Saints) and what not to do (Giants). The Saints took 8 minutes off the clock in the 4th quarter, driving 80+ yards and kicked a FG to make it 24-13 leaving only 6 minutes to go in the game. Later, the Saints with a 3rd and 7 at around their own 45 yard line with only 3+ minutes to go and a 24-13 lead called for a fly pattern to Devery Henderson and Brees connected easily on a 40 yard pass play (defender stood no chance on the play as it was a big surprise). I don't need to tell you what the Giants OC called in the 4th quarter. This most likely ruins the season for the Giants and takes them out of the playoffs (yes, even at 6-5). They will not be able to recover. Payton is a genius. Coughlin needs to be dismissed from the team immediately.
You can't blame the 4th quarter colapse only on the Giants OC. I hate to admit it but I put the majority of the blame on Eli. He made some throws that reminded my Arkansas's QB
What are you talking about? Playing not to lose is a stroke of genious. Just ask Jim Mora, see how well that turned out for him.
