With the season beginning to wrap down maybe a thread on LSU's Offensive Coordinator position would be a good topic. The first question is should Coach Studrawa remain as our OC after the season is over? He kind of got the job by default when Kragthorpe was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease. Secondly, for those who believe Stud should be replaced, who should replace him?

I feel he should be replaced. I have never had a lot of confidence in him either as an OL coach or as an OC. Just my opinion. I would love to see either Todd Monken (Oklahoma State) or Phillip Montgomery (Baylor) come to Tigertown to take over the OC spot.

    Open for opinions.

Well, if we finish 14-0 and win the National Championship, Id say its retty hard to replace anybody on this staff.

Maybe we keep stud at OL coach, Krags at QB coach and introduce a New OC

I don't really have an opinion about it. Stud probably has learned a lot this year. On the otherhand, our passing game is still hurting from a play calling perspective. .. then again OTOH .. I don't want LSU turned into a pass happy Okie State or Baylor.

Lot's of pros and cons on this one.

If we do change and I really don't see it happening based on Miles loyalty to his staff, especially if we go 14-0 and have a crystal ball to show for it. But, if we do it'll be a guy like Miles who is run first.

Hard to believe you need a new coach if you go undefeated.

I think we should hire a new one, but I'd imagine 14-0 with a crystal ball = at least one more year to see how you do with a shiny new toy called Zach Mettenberger and a shifty little SOB named Jerrard Randall.

I don't see why we would take it away from Studthorpe. Is something wrong with our offense?

While I have never been a stud fan the offense has been much improved with two very pedestrian QB's. I thing the stud/kraig combination has earned another year to see where they can take it. It's still hard to say at this point which of the two is actually driving the car or if it's truly a combination of the two. I'd like to see what they can do with a legit QB and a second year at the helm.

I think we have improved tremendously with Stud and Krag. Still have the same players and offensive production has gone up. With a true passing qb next year and a seasoned offense I think we will be ok.:geaux:

I don't think a change needs to be made. I've been pretty happy with the playcalling and I think that with Mett; the offense could be outstanding. However, I hate the "14-0" argument.
