    I hate the option too, but.... I don't think it would hurt for us to have a quarterback that can scramble, extend plays with his legs, and pick up first downs when the pocket breaks down.

    In the red zone, the option complicates a defense immensely . . . as long as the pass is still a threat. Most of Jefferson's success was in the red zone because he could hit a short pass most of the time.

    Typical what else would work gosh I wish we had West Virginia's OC hell even baylor's like i said if we don't make a change we might as well wait for Rettig, Jennings, Desean Smith, Seals-Jones, Leslie, and possibly Quin and Washington to help our passing game also Jeryl Brazil will be used on offense next trindon holiday but better

    I don't neccessarily want to go to a trip-op full time, but a change of pace would be nice if the traditional offense is getting nowhere. But then, I guess that would take practice snaps from the core personnel group, which they desperately need.

    Unfortunately, we have no choice but to wait for this patchworked, underperforming offense to gel...if it ever does.
