Dude this sounds very radical, but I honestly think LSU should get an option or dual threat QB and turn the offense into a Georgia Tech option attack or the spread hurry up like West Virgnia or Oregon. Mostly GT with those backs and our O-line and with a fast accurate QB. Even this would be better than our offense yes i know very crazy idea guys. I'm sorry just thinking outside the box here

This actually crossed my mind. If the receivers are going to suck this badly and Mett can't run to save his life (literally), then they're just wasting bodies. I say stack up all of our biggest guys, put Bolden in at QB, and wishbone them until something breaks free. It can't hurt. At least for a series or two, when nothing else is working...

    Sigh.

Why don't we just get one or two recievers who can actually catch the ball? The majority of our offensive problems will be solved with that. We desparately need another Michael Clayton or Dwayne Bowe.

That would only fix one of our many offensive problems. Offensive philosophy sucks! Playcalling sucks! OL is beat up and not as good as typical LSU front. QB shits his pants under slightest pressure

When we were run heavy, everyone wanted a passing qb....now we got one and they want to go back to the run.

Dude I never wanted a passing QB. I loved Jordan we used him wrong. He isn't a shot-gun read qb let him run the play action and use rollouts. BTW there is a difference between run-heavy and option attack bro

I don't think anyone ever wanted a pass happy offense, they just wanted the ability to pass when teams stacked the box. A quality passing game would be nice, but a below average passing game would be sufficient. We have neither!

You need a speedy fullback to run the triple option. We don't have that. The triple option isn't that hard to defend either, if you defense is disciplined enough to stay in their gaps and not chase shinny objects then the trip option is useless. I think LSU has all the pieces that they need to be successful. Mr. Water head needs to just stay out of it. Unfortunately he won't.
