:geaux: My offensive MVP is Demetrius Byrd, that kid came out of nowhere to be the go to receiver. If you look at most of the close games he came up with the big catches, even in the SEC championship game. Defensively its Ali Highsmith and Chevis Jackson. Highsmith is a man amongst boys. He can tackle anybody anywhere anytime. This kid has heart and skills. Honorable Mention-Jacob Hester, Craig Steltz, and Glenn Dorsey (injuries) Steltz in that Arkansas game just got beat to much and missed to many tackles and he was unblocked for alot of that game.
IMO.. Offense: Hester, but I gotta give some love to the O-Line, and the receiving corps as a group. Defense: I say Steltz, but mostly because of Dorsey's injuries. Steltz led the team in tackles and Int's. If Dorsey was healthy all year, he wins this hands down. :geaux: :geaux: :geaux: :geaux: :geaux: :geaux: :crystal: :crystal: :crystal:
For what it's worth, Dorsey is third (I think) on the team in tackles, even through his injuries and double/triple teams. He's up there close to the top in sacks as well.
Team MVP -- Dorsey: Florida had Tebow, Arkansas had McFadden, we had Dorsey. Offensive MVP -- Flynn: 17 passing TDs, 4 rushing TDs Defensive MVP -- Steltz: 1 sack, 3 forced fumbles, 6 interceptions, 7 pass break-ups, 97 tackles
