My hang up has never been about Jefferson playing .. it's been about Lee not playing. Lee will never have another chance to play on Senior Day in Tiger Stadium .. in a season that he was a major part of the success. He'll never have another chance to take meaningful snaps in an SEC CG, a game that Lee was a major part of attaining. .. and JLee will never again have the chance to play for a national championship, on the best team season performance an LSU team has ever put up. And for what??? Well .. let's hope you're right and the "bowl game" JJ shows up. I hope JJ makes everyone proud. But it doesn't take away the pain I see in a young man's face who's been screwed out a once in a life time chance.
Yes, I agree it's sad to see Lee like that after what he did in the first 8 games. I certainly don't agree with how it's been handled by Les. Taking the last snap the last 2 games was totally embarrassing. If you're done with Lee, then be done with him. Have Mettenberger snap it. Whatever Lee did, i don't care. No one deserves that humiliation.

This is the age of the internet message board football fan. There will be no "fully enjoying" the LSU Tigers game. There will ALWAYS be something about which to complain. That's just the way it is. There have always be QB controversies, too. Heck, Mickey Guidry wrote a whole book about it.

Anyone thought that maybe it wasn't Lee's interceptions he threw but the fact that when he had an opportunity to try and tackle Mark Barron on the 2nd pick he threw he pretty much just Ole'd him with no effort at all. You threw the pick, if you have a chance to make a tackle f'n make it, or at least get smashed trying to.

No, its not! I've done some serious rooting for jj. When he is playing well, he's fun to watch. I do watch on the edge of my seat to see which jj is going to show up, but, when he is playing well, I relax. The not playing Lee is a completely different issue.
Bingo! In fact, it's not fair to JJ that so much animosity is directed towards him because of how CLM did Lee. Like I've said, I keep hoping that there is some other reason for why CLM did Lee the way he did.
