Offense or Defense?

    Hanover started the first game of the super, and Helenihi came in late in the game. I don't think he did much, though. He was clutch in game 2, however. He had a late game HR and I think another RBI single or something like that.

    Yep. You don't mess with perfection. And as SabanFan pointed out, his freakish ability at third more than compensates for a sub-par performance at the plate.

    As a coach, you have to be careful not to get caught up in the moment. Sure, Hanover looked unreal at the plate yesterday. But there were a lot of things contributing to that. The mere fact that he was in the game indicates how far ahead we were. And Arkansas' pitching staff was so depleted by that point that you really shouldn't read too much into it.

    Helenihi will come around. Ochinko was I believe 1-10 at the plate in the CWS before yesterday, and he smoked one early on in the game in a key situation.

    They both can hit. Wonder if they are trying too hard?

    Coach has a deep bench and he makes changes when he needs to. He could have worse problems.
