How in the name of Fred does this have anything to do with a QB? Come on Kyle you are better than that.

All of you seem to have missed the point. We can nit pick about the QB. However, we have a helluva lot going for us. A lot of things that other teams probably wish they had.

YOU seem to have missed the point. We know we have had unprecedented success under Miles. We know that most years we have a solid team. What everyone doesn't understand is how you can consistently be so good at so much yet be so horrible most of the time at the one thing that keeps you from greatness. Especially when so many other teams don't seem to struggle with that issue.

No, it's not that hard. Well at least for just about every other school in the NCAA. Go find a GD quarterback. Miles for all his greatness and grass eating just can't seem to pull this off. Keeps hamstringing us with shit show after shit show.

How many teams don't struggle to win championships? Damn few, if any . . . especially in the SEC West. And look how many times Ohio State and USC come up short.

Do you really want to trade our success and our issues for theirs? Who? Notre Dame, Michigan, Florida, who? There is not a team or a coach without some issues. There are damn few teams that achieve "greatness" very often. Just 3 years ago, the 2011 team was called the best team of all time. So, Les is not exciting enough offensively to please every fan, fine. Do we trade away good recruiting, good winning percentage, and championships to get a more exciting coach who can't deliver on the important stuff and comes with his own set of issues?

I agree with a caveat. Can you get an audience w/Les and tell him it's soon to be 2015 and to adjust his offensive philosophy accordingly? TIA.

You people are like a broken record.

WE DO NOT WANT TO TRADE ANYTHING. OK????

We want Miles to FIX basically his only major flaw, QB development.

Why is this such a hard issue for you guys.

Les Miles could be the greatest coach on the planet if he literally fixes ONE area. Just ONE.

I can live with bad clock management at times ( all coaches run in with this, some more than most), I can live with a stubborn O philosophy, BUT Les Miles HAS to get a QB who can make the plays under his system. These happy feet QB's are NOT cutting it.

Funny, I think the same about you people.

Half of you are openly lobbying for Miles to be gone. Shane says a little prayer every night.

Well, he went out and hired a top OC and quarterback coach. Gunner Kiel was supposed to be starting this year, and I can't fault Les for Kiel having no chest. But if left a hole in our QB ladder.

Now this is an observation that has merit. I did not and do not understand why the drop-back passers were shooed away and the dual-threat guys were anointed as the future. In the kind of system that Miles runs, we need a serious drop-back passer to run the offense. The running quarterbacks should be a changeup and for special duty in the red-zone. That may have been the plan before Kiel bolted at the last minute leaving us without a top QB recruit.

Some would argue Les can't catch a break with QBs, others would argue Les should be able to manage the passing game better.
