Don't forget, Bama scored a defensive TD against SCe. They are NOT a prolific offense. They are great between the 20s...and have a decent FG kicker. Sounds awfully familiar to me. The difference is, if we can just get our offense untracked, we have the superior athletes. They do have impressive RBs though.

In fact...Bama scored 1...ONE offensive TD against USCe...late in the 4th. Scary prolific.

i hate that bama can spin this into a #1 ranking. they don't score an offensive TD until the waning moments and turn a 13-6 struggle into a 20-6 somwhat comfortable looking win. at least those voters who never watched the game in the first place saw bama's D holding garcia who looked absolutely AWFUL to 6 pts.

man, i hate them. can't anyone beat alabama this season??!!!

they've become my new florida and USC rolled into one.:angryfire

Now that Bama and UF are starting to get into the meat of their SEC play, they are proving to be as vulnerable as any body else. The difference between them and the next level is a penalty here a turnover there. Both are very beatable. Unfortunately, we still have our toughest competition to go, UF has faced it's toughest competition, Bama on the other hand may very well trip up over the next couple of games.

i can't find a spot where bama could trip, maybe florida if they keep playing this way but they did this at this point last season and then turned it around.

both have extremely favorable schedules (SEC wise) from here on out.

    I'll give you four:
    1. Tenn
    2. LSU
    3. Auburn
    4. Possibly Florida

Alabama loses at least one game this year if not two.

I got to watch my first Alabama game wire to wire Saturday and I just do not see the invincible team that everyone's talking about. They went down to the wire against SC and couldn't put it away until late in the fourth quarter. When we win like that everyone is bitching that we should have been up 21 at the half. In their case they "gutted it out."

yeah but the difference is the total yards. We have won games this year in games we were out gained by over 100 yards. Alabama just pounds on you, and pounds on you, until you are just worn out in the 4th quarter. If we are going to beat Alabama, we need to jump on em, and put some points on the board quick.

Here's what we know... LSU is a worthy opponent against anyone they play.... that's gotta make one feel good.

The only question is how worthy?

    Reminds me....

The guy in a bar says to the woman next to him, "Would you sleep with me for a million dollars?"

    She says, "Sure !!"

He says, "Will you sleep with me for $10?"

She replies, "What do you think I am?"

He says, "We've already established that. It's just a price negotiation now."

ok point taken but let me say a little about each one of those...

first, they get the vols at home. and much like us, the vols have a decent D and are punchless on offense. you would think mistakes and such may dictate who wins and maybe the vols can get lucky but i don't see it.

against us either, we're gonna need the D to score points against them or really force them into many mistakes. i would say they have the advantage in both due to home field but now they're #1 and everyone wants to knock off #1.

i don't know the sched by heart but think if they face us and tenn at home they must go to AU this year but man, AU has fallen off. i still think they can beat bama because it might be one of those games where you throw the records out but todd is pretty bad and i think ingram will run all over the AU defense.

now you have a legit point with florida. i'm hoping they will give bama their best IF the two teams meet.

bama just really matches up well with everyone left, LSU included and if the offense doesn't turn it around it may be bad. heck i don't mind losing to the #1 team twice in the same year, i just want LSU to win the games it should starting saturday.
