"sources" telling nola.com that Victor Butler tore his ACL yesterday and will be placed on injured reserve. Injured during a fuckin' OTA. Fuckety-fuck-fuck!
That really, really sucks. Oh yeah, and Devery signed with the 'Skins, so I guess Morgan is officially our speedy deep threat now.

https://www.profootballfocus.com/blog/2013/06/01/secret-superstar-junior-galette/ Secret Superstar: Junior Galette It always makes for a good story when an undrafted rookie ends up making an NFL roster. It becomes more exciting when that player starts getting play time. That is taken to yet another level when that player can become a Secret Superstar. That is the case with pass rusher Junior Galette of the New Orleans Saints who joined the team after their Super Bowl victory. For the last several years, the main pass rush from the Saints defense had come from Will Smith. With enough snaps, Galette can easily get the most pressure in the new 3-4 defense in New Orleans. Like most players in the Secret Superstar series, we’ll let you know where they came from, how they rose to stardom and what we can expect from this up and coming player in the future.
NFL Network has released the names for this year's top 100 players list, voted on by the players. No Darren Sproles, no Jimmy Graham (although 8 -- 8! other tight ends made the list), no Jahri Evans. The only Saint on the list is Drew Brees, and after being no. 2 last year, he's not even in the top 10 this year. I say, great job, NFL! Give this team even more incentive to leave the rest of the league in a smoldering heap this fall.
NFL.com published this article devoted to bashing the list for not having Graham, saying: " While the "Top 100" holds its own as breezy, offseason fare, Graham's omission reveals its true nature as a raging farce" http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap1000000212262/article/saints-jimmy-graham-snubbed-in-top-100-list Mike Triplett writes this about Graham's obmission: "Obviously that's absurd" and provides a link showing how "At least the NFL Network analysts properly ridiculed the players' list for leaving Graham out entirely. Quarterback Kurt Warner called the omission both "ridiculous" and a "travesty." Warren Sapp called Graham "the most devastating tight end in the game today." And fellow analysts Michael Irvin and Dave Dameshek also agreed that Graham and Gronkowski are the top two tight ends in the league and should both be ranked right next to each other in the 20s." http://www.nola.com/saints/index.ssf/2013/06/new_orleans_saints_tight_end_j_32.html Earlier, Triplett wrote about CBS' Top 100, saying: " CBSSports.com's Pete Prisco just unveiled his annual ranking of the NFL's top 100 players , with only three New Orleans Saints making the list -- quarterback Drew Brees at No. 12, tight end Jimmy Graham at No. 27 and guard Jahri Evans at No. 52. ... I think Prisco's ranking of the Saints players is pretty fair. ... tailback Darren Sproles has the talent to be ranked on this list and expect him to be back on it after another dynamic season in 2013. But I understand why he's not on this year's list after having a more pedestrian performance in 2012." http://www.nola.com/saints/index.ssf/2013/05/new_orleans_saints_question_of_12.html
Our number one draft choice already has a recognizable face in NO. Trouble is, its the wrong face: http://www.sportsgrid.com/nfl/saint...mistaken-for-colin-kaepernick-by-saints-fans/
True story: i know someone who ran into Joe Montana and asked him if he was the James Bond actor (Daniel Craig) The thing with people in New Orleans confusing Vaccaro with Kaepernick is old news, and if you squint at them, they are both young muscular olive-skinned guys with tattoos But they don't look anything alike. Go show a girl the two pics in that article and ask them if they look alike. I just did it just now, and she said they don't look anything alike and she pointed to the guy on the left (Kaerpernick) and said he is ugly then pointed to the guy on the right (Vaccaro) and said he's hot. It's the same thing the last girl said. During the Superbowl she said Kaerpernick was ugly and during the draft she said Vaccaro was hot (a lot of girls are saying this) The people getting Vaccaro and Kaerpernick confused are like the people that think all Asian people look the same
