I am not even sure Tracy Porter would have made the team had we signed him.

More interestingly, does this foreshadow a signing of Nnamdi by the Saints?

    Stay tuned.

I'm willing to bet that, by default, he would have.

I, for one, would have like to have seen him back.

Really? His first tenure with us turned out pretty well and I believe he had a pretty good year in Denver last year until he got hurt - which he very prone to do. Not sure why you think this.

Tracy Porter will always be a Saints fan favorite for obvious reasons. But his time with the Saints, other than the '09 season, was not much to get excited about. His first 3 years, he played 5, 12 and 12 games (14 in his final season). 2009 was the only season he had more than one interception. That was also the only year he went into double digits in passes defensed.

fwiw, per PPF's stats, Tracey Porter was ranked #113-worst out of 115 CBs when it came to the most yards given up per coverage snap last year (Patrick Robinson was #111)

looks like Nnamdi Asomugha has made his decision... and it's to play on the star-studded defense of the Defending NFC Champion 49ers

Nnamdi went to college in the Bay Area (Cal) and then played there for the first 8 years of his NFL career with the Raiders

How the fuck can the 49ers pay all the superstars on that team and stay under the cap?
