Of the 21 signees not in school, who is qualified and who is not?

Confirmed again that Ford is good to go and will report in June.

 

FYI, looks like the staff was correct in their reservations with Sentimore. Word is he did not qualify.

 

Early indications are pointing to Lacy qualifying if he hasn't already done so.

I have heard from 2 people with the team that the main reason for not offering Lacy was character concerns to go along with grade issues.

Edit: Lacy has to pass a few summer classes before he can qualify.

 

More details on Ford being Qualified:

He did have to take a correspondence class and he completed it with a B. His GPA and ACT are qualifying scores now and his info has been turned into the clearinghouse.

 

I saw that yesterday but I see some Bama fans are still saying JUCO lock.

Either way, the LSU staff had a good reason to be worried. They offered late because they saw there was a chance which leads me to believe the update from his coach is accurate.

 

There is some chatter that Loston has done everything he needs to do and it is in the Clearinghouses' hands now.

If true Tahj is our only concern from what I have gathered.

 

Loston ACT score jumped up more than 5 points which is an automatic red flag for the clearinghouse. He is taking it again just to have even more leverage. (not uncommon). So once it is flagged they will send the additional score to speed up the clearing process. He is cleared to workout with the team this summer.

However, there are some info out there saying Tahj Jones did not pass his exit exams and therefore did not officially graduate high school. He will be taking the exams again.
