I probably overlooked this thread or the information in another thread.
Who is qualified, who is not and who is projected to have trouble qualifying?

Of our 2009 class of 25 signees, 4 are already enrolled – what is the academic status of the remaining 21?

For some reason, my impression is that most, if not all, are qualified.

On the subject of academics, what has our graduation rate been under CLM?
Where does that rank in the SEC?

    6 are enrolled:

    Calhoun
    Minter
    Shepard
    Garrett
    Duplessis
    Helton

Commits who are close but have a little work to do:

Tahj Jones -- Keep GPA up
    Loston -- Correspondence classes underway
Ford -- 1 more point on ACT
Faulk -- Needs to raise ACT up a point or increase GPA by a qtr of a point
    Montgomery -- ACT
Davenport -- Needed ACT score but I think he has received his results by now

However, Miles said in the NSD speech that he is only worried about one of our signees and he was probably referring to Jones. Jones grades have skyrocketed as of late and if he continues doing the same he will qualify. If not he can take some summer classes and not take a greyshirt.

This isn't exactly what you're asking for but it's pretty interesting piece on the topic. It gives some numbers for the Pac but also other schools including LSU and also sports other than football and the differences between graduation rates compared to the general school population and also the variation between black and white athletes. It also explains how the change in GSR calculation REALLY improved the rates without any institutional changes.

The one thing missing is the discussion of athletes who leave early and how they impact the numbers.

I updated my 2nd post in this thread and I am pretty sure it is still accurate as of now.

Faulk will take the ACT again in April

Ford will have his results on Monday.

I am sure Davenport got his grade in by now but I have not heard anything on the results.

Loston is in Baton Rouge taking correspondence classes I believe.

Tahj is probably the main one to keep an eye on given that he has come a long way and needs to continue that with good grades on his finals.

I would add Loston to your list of real concerns because we know how the Clearinghouse struggles with correspondence classes.

I have no info on Montgomery. What is the major concern? Did he have a horrible ACT score on the 1st go round? Or is his GPA low and he needs a very good ACT score?
