Sorry.....second one should have been obesity. It happens. Still doesn't change the fact that smoking is a really, really bad habit that quite often does lead to lung cancer and a variety of other cancers.
VBall, what do you do that you have this insight? Great stuff. Agree fully about all of the risk factors you mentioned. Most of us disqualify our own life choices as a factor in disease development. Alcohol consumption, which virtually all of us do, has a significant impact too. It’s a toxin. But, it must be the water, lol. Again, there are exceptions, and I don’t want to be off putting about it, it’s just reality.
When I was a kid growing up, I knew friends of my parents who died of lung cancer and never smoked. They DID work in chemical plants/oil refineries.
I only soaked my foot in bleach 4 or 5 times but I sprayed Lotrimin on it 2 or 3 ties a day for 2 or 3 months. The infection is gone but it left a scab or something like it that I was only patially able to cut off with toenail clippers. I will have to see a dermatologist anyway because I have a plantar wart on the bottom of my foot that makes it painful to walk barefoot or with only socks.
