Every successful head coach has more than one "Troy" during their career. And let's give a head coach more than six games before wanting to run him out of town.
As a fan I don't think we can beat them if they play their A game even if we play our A++ game. If I was the coach I would never admit that to the team and would do my best to prepare them to win World War III. Maybe they will only bring their B- game. Maybe turnovers make the difference. You never know. That's why you play the game.
Thanks for the reminder. So, in the long run, a loss to Troy doesn't mean shit. I think it might've been good for our young, talented team to get humiliated at home to inspire them. Obviously, we're stuck with O for a bit, and let's give him a little time. But like other fans, it would've been exciting to get a really amazing coach at the top of his profession. It might seem odd but what about Chip Kelley?
