Code: Chase Utley (PHI) 4/1 Dan Uggla (FLA) 6/1 Grady Sizemore (CLE) 13/2 Evan Longoria (TB) 7/1 Josh Hamilton (TEX) 3/1 Lance Berkman (HOU) 7/2 Ryan Braun (MIL) 5/1 Justin Morneau (MIN) 6/1 short right porch good for lefties. berkman is batting right-handed but will be a threat due to being in 3 prior derbies. hamilton is the favorite and will likely put on a show batting left and his power is legit. sizemore another lefty doesnt have great power but can hit to any field. I think the sleeper who could win it. chase utley bats lefty and is similar to sizemore where his quick hands make him a serious threat. though the smaller guys usually tire out by the final round is my worry. evan longoria bats right and is a rookie. Will be fun just to see how he fares. perennial all-star. dan uggla bats right and another power hitting second baseman as utley. justin morneau bats left and can drive it out to right with ease. but I think he will choke. ryan braun bats right but is the one righty who can take it out anywhere in the park even late in the competition. edit: braun's agent is his bp pitcher. ill take hamilton since hes a great story and oh, mashes and is a lefty. his BP pitcher is 71 years old i believe. also he's on my money team where I drafted him in the 13th round and he already has 95 rbi. not bad for being a crackhead (ok heroin) the previous couple of years and right back into baseball.
ball jumping off the bat tonight. The lefties will hit many a ball into the upper deck if they don't overswing.
