ODB "fair catch" in 4th quarter

    That would have been the correct call, because he signaled for it.

    Curious --- Did you actually see him call for a fair catch?

    I don't recall seeing a him single for a fc, but I do recall the announcer saying, "that will be a penalty" when he was tackled and never saw a replay. Since there was not penalty called, I thought that the announcer was just imagining that a fc was called for as it was "nuts" not too.

    I didnt hear an announcer, I was in the stands and everyone around me saw it.

    Maybe he's emulating PP7 (now PP21 for the AZ Cardinals) who was quoted saying:

    "When you're back there & the ball's in the air, how much you HATE having to put up the the fair catch signal." -- Patrick Peterson

    But I agree--ODB has to learn that judgement.

    ESPN didn't show him making the fair catch at all (great camera work there...), but Herbie said he did.
