    The Yahoo doesn't have a friend in the world diplomatically, which is very bad for Israel.

    Because the experiment only asks them to identify what they are. Does everyone agree on what everyone else is. No, and there are some pretty obvious examples on this board. The other problem is the connotation of the words moderate, conservative, and liberal. liberal has a negative connotation to most people even those who are left leaning. They don't like the term because it connotes an extreme position where as the term conservative does not. It doesn't matter that conservative can be every bit or more extreme than a liberal, it's the connotation and the fact that this experiment relies on people labeling themselves.

    I'll tell you what, let's have everyone who posts regularly in FSA declare what they really think they are and then you go through and see if you agree with them. You won't. People always have a more positive view of themselves and their view than what reality is. This is science 101 Red.

    Obama said he would stop Iran from getting a nuclear bomb. The new IAEA report is out and Obama has done nothing to stop Iran's nuclear program, the same country that has threatened the USA and also threatened to wipe Israel off the face of the earth. I guess I'll come looking for Red when missiles start flying and ask him how is that for Obama's foreign policy.

    Indeed, but he chit all over Obama when he was in Washington and has been saying bad things about him all over, like he does with most European leaders, too. Payback is bitter. Obama will back the Israeli opposition parties which is trying to get Yahoo and the Likud party out of power again before he starts WWIII.

    This is bullchit 100. As expected you have offered no way to measure "the pulse of America". Just some claptrap which amounts to "you can't trust someone to know what his own politics are." It's just stupid. Liberals do not consider "liberal" to be negative, just conservatives. Conservatives won't even recognize that moderates exist, so they call both of them liberals and expect them to be offended. :insane:

    Offer up some evidence that the numbers of conservatives, moderates and liberals in america is something other than what Gallup reports . . . or STFU.

    Iran has no nuclear weapon and no delivery system capable of hitting us. Even if they ever did they could not hit us for the same reason that Russia never did. Because we would reduce their country to smoking ashes within 24 hours. They same happens if they hit Israel, who can take care of itself, or it they hit Russia, who covet their warm-water seaports.

    They are just trying to stay relevant in a neighborhood that includes nuclear-armed Pakistan, India, Russia, and Israel. They have to ante up or get out of the game.

    Iran is a snowballing political clusterfugg of a nation that had a near revolution a couple of years ago and they now have a President who is at odds with the students, the clerics, and almost every foreign power on the planet. It's another revolution waiting to happen. All we have to do is sit back and stoke internal dissent, which we are definitely doing. You have learned nothing from Iraq.

    Obama is playing this smart and letting Iranians spent a giant fortune trying to develop this power, which they can't afford and which will bankrupt them as it did the Soviet Union. And if they ever achieve it . . . it does them no good at all in dealing with the US.

    We have plenty of real problems with Al Qaeda in Pakistan and Afghanistan without trying to invent one in Iran.

    I never offered a way to measure the pulse of America. You're the scientist, you do it. What I actually said is that this experiment is obviously flawed because you are asking people to describe themselves. If you ask everyone in the world how tall they are, you would end up with an average height that is more than the actual average height of everyone in the world. If you can't understand this, I can't help you.

    I already did. YOU DON'T LISTEN! I wish the breakdown of political views in America was like this. If it were, we would be much better off. We need moderates in this country. What we don't need are pseudo intellectuals claiming to be moderates, because they want to believe they're the voice of reason, and labeling everyone else as extreme when really they are the extremist.
