I got this from the game: 1. The team played their hearts out. got to hand it to them. 2. I dont agree with the posts about coach Tommy M., but we do seem to get more cramps than our opponents. coaches need to find out what is up there. 3. Crowton is still VERY unimpressive, we win in spite of him not because of him. Several plays Russel MADE something out of nothing. Yes BAMA has a great defense but we also have a potentially great Offense and at some point you have to quit saying that the other team is just good and man up. 4. Lyle Hitt... does it seem that he gets beat alot? Offensive line was decent but Bama won that war. Even when we were ahead their stats were better. 5. Refs definately eased Bama's burden but that's been going on since Bear was alive. so no suprise. We made/earned several of those penalties on stupid mistakes. 6. who makes all the posts saying JJ is so horrible? Its clear he leads the team. Sure he has issues but he is pretty solid for his experience level. Im not making excuses for him either, I think we could win a NC with him if the line would PASS block ( or run block consistantly ) 7. Does anyone think we need to have J Lee in all the time? Seriously. It's not his fault we lost but he sure didnt help. 8. Scott is a great running back BUT I dont think Ridley is way down the list on second string, he might be in Miles book but he shows alot of heart. I think he is a VERY capable back up. Just wish JJ had one. 9. I know everyone will say " he isnt ready" but why not put Shep in at QB? we obviously didnt light up the world with Lee in. 10. Defense is a solid unit. We did some poor tackling in the second half I wonder if our guys were just gassed? Please dont say Bama is just good. We have the same talent they do. 11. Is Les getting better at clock management as a coach? :nope: 12. We saw a bit of Shepard but this guy is like a drug the more you see the more you want. is les immune to this? :huh: 13. All in all I am proud of our boys they did what they could considering the snake bit game. I might get flamed for this BUT if I am Les Miles this is my to-do list during the offseason. 1. fire Crowton 2. fire Crowton 3. Recruit O line 4 See #1 and then recruit two more linemen. it all starts on the O line. Got to win that war. We could still get a great bowl game if we win out! :geaux:
