yeah thats the one thats gonna cost him a good bit of money. Just seeing those clips doesnt do it justice. He was acting like a complete idiot and lost a lot of respect around the league today I do believe. he'll learn from it because hes going to hear a lot about it from here out.
I don't buy the whole the defensive backs get to do shit like that because that is there job. Don't get me wrong I'm not defending Beckham and he was way out of line and will get fined, but Norman is still culpable. If Beckham would have just let it go after the 1st quarter it would have been all done, but he kept on it seemed after every play.
Tony Dungy blamed it on the refs not seizing control early. Rodney Harrison called Beckham immature, but also said it was entirely on the refs to take two passionate guys and minimize the physicality early. It escalated as a result of the non-aggressive manner of the officials in roping in everyone.
Good point by Dungy. Rodney Harrison, I don't take anything he says seriously. The guy said Kevin Mawae was a dirty player. Mawae was nasty, not dirty, and Harrison shouldn't be calling anyone other than himself dirty.
Norman says he hopes he pulled back the mask on who he really is. That wasn't Odell. He never did that once at LSU, he didn't do it last year. He has done it in 2 games this year. But Josh Norman shouldn't be saying anything considering he admits to eye gouging in piles.
Talk radio is brutal this morning. I wonder how many $10s of millions in endorsements he costs himself. That loss of change will make any league fine appear trivial.
Not to mention Suh, whom I despise. That idiot has more lowlight reels than anyone. The cheap crap like taking Barber down by his hair, leg-sweeping Cutler, and what he did to Delhomme? OBJ had one game....if he can reel it back in, no big deal.
Refs completely lost control of that situation. Was on the sidelines of a high school game earlier and a kid was playing out of control. The ref came over to the head coach and told him, get that kid out of the game for few plays or I'll take put him out for the night (ejection equals one-game suspension). Refs could have done this to OBJ and Norman.
The ref watching on the second play where norman body slammed him, and norman himself, both take some blame. However OBJ has to be suspended for that head to head missile hit. You just can't do that.
