We aren't stupid, Barack. Let's hear about your accomplishments rather than "the failed policies" of the prior administration.

Well Mr. President, unfortunately for you your job is kind of like a head coaches job in the NFL. If we don't see immediate progress, and that change you promised, we want a new coach. There is no such thing as tenure, and the American people don't want to hear sh!t about how great the year 2020 is going to be if we "stay the course".

obama's idea of progress is cutting off the private sector at the knees which he has done in grand style. all the whilst nationalizing everything in the process.

Regulating carbon emissions to energy use is just more theft of freedoms he nor congress has any authority to touch. this is the opposite of what government was intended.

a socialist agenda does not spread the wealth. it crushes american ingenuity and spirit while creating dependence and eventually misery. instead of wealth being spread equally its actually just the misery and the crushing hand of government.

THis is why "stimulus" are bi-partisan slam dunks. There are only two possible outcomes:

1/ The economy gets better. Political response: "I voted for the bill that saved our nation."

2/ The economy does'nt get better. Politcal response: "It's bad, but think how bad it would have been if we did nothing."

There is NO scenario where a politican has to toll for the "stimulus'" failure.

but more importantly it creates a dependent voter base. talk about a win-win.

works out well for the generous one doing the giving but unfortunately it comes out of your pocket not his.

You are being entirely too unreasonable with your expectations. How could you even begin to demand that a president live up to his campaign promises. That would make him trustworthy and honest. Characteristics not becoming of a politician.:D

People really need to stop focusing on the president and start focusing on the real problem - congress. Worrying about the head office is just a classic bait and switch by both parties.

We(Americans) will have to prove we give a damn for longer than one election cycle, pay attention to what congress is actually doing, and throw them out, repeatedly if needed. The economy will turn around eventually, but the crack habits of congress will be just as bad. It's really just out of hand and sooner or later we have to wake up and make some sacrifices of our own in govt, the way many of us have to do every day with our families.

Exactly right, it will be interesting to see if people are ready to make those sacrafices or if they will continue to be led by the nose into the misery of socialism because they are "comfortable". It is really scary times.
