right, i guess i am telling you that the politics of things are not that important relative to actual policy. perhaps we as a nation should be more concerned about policy reality than nitpicking political crap. we kinda already went over this. i am smart, but not great at everything. i am terrible at math. i am probably better than anyone you have ever met at reading comprehension . but lets not make me the issue.
I don't dispute that, but I still recognize reality. You continue to rant against it and say it doesn't matter. The truth is it does, just not to you. But keep on ranting. Perhaps you will singlehandedly change the political process. Or not. Clearly you are not, or you would not have pegged me as someone demanding more PR from Obama. I stated he could do his job from anywhere, but public perception(you know, the reality of politics?), demands more of him.
public perception of the president is something i cant be bothered with. he can be the most hated person since hitler if he wants if he favors proper policy. i want my politicians to favor proper policy, not be always angling for re-election. again, this is called leading, not following. we should hope our leaders lead. i think you might reconsider what actually affects you.
agreed there are a lot of things on the the plate of the President. But there have been 2 (1 taken and 2 scheduled) vacations since the leak started. He did find time to go to the Boxer Fundraiser in California this week, was there a detour to the south as he flew by in either direction, NO. He was not scheduled to even come down here until he started getting hammered for it. Part of the problem is there is no policy. There is no chain of command for this oil spill. No one knows what is going on. The Coast Guard taking orders from BP is bull****. Executive Orders can clear a lot of crap up. If he is so disgusted by what is going on, at least use the damned pen to get rid of the red tape.
Do you think if you write this on a chalkboard a thousand times it will change reality? Still making it about me? You should at least try to be accurate in what matters to me. It's different than the reality of what a politician is forced to do in order to keep his job and continue to serve. I have no need for Obama's PR. I need him to stay out of my way as a citizen, businessman, and as a consumer. I recognize that politics demand more of him than this.
right, so your concern is obama's re-election. glad to know you are worrying about that. doesnt seem like a very valid criticism to me, that his perception is slipping. i went over this with red, explaining that watching approval ratings is not the way leaders should lead. when i ask you questions about what you think about issues, you reply with observations about me. you should consider defending your positions instead of taking shots at me. your whole OP here was ridiculous. none of your criticisms were valid, one you admitted was wrong, and you dont have the guts to answer my question about who you think is the smartest here. earlier i asked you what obama should do about AZ, instead of vacationing, any answers or would you rather snipe me? what authority does obama have to do anything with AZ? and what should he do specifically?
Yeah, I'm thinking...not so much. You keep attributing political reality and requirements that Obama understands(but ignores sometimes), as being my desires. I have clearly stated they are not the same thing. You ignore this and keep posting the same drivel. Either you are mentally challenged or you believe everyone else here is. Kumbaya...
hey bud, you forgot to embolden the s in desires. It's buggin meh! or maybe you purposely committed this atrocity to bug meh! cute horse pic tho!
