    Pure FoxNews anti-Obama spin.

    Here is the Act.

"To enhance the Federal Government's efforts to address the needs of rural America, this order establishes a council to better coordinate Federal programs and maximize the impact of Federal investment to promote economic prosperity and quality of life in our rural communities."

So, the order established no new spending and no new programs, only coordinates between agencies to enhance what can be done with the resources already available. What's wrong with that?

"Make recommendations to the President, ... , on streamlining and leveraging Federal investments in rural areas, where appropriate, to increase the impact of Federal dollars and create economic opportunities to improve the quality of life in rural America;"

So the duties of the Council are only to recommend more effective ways of spending the money already being spent. What's wrong with that?

Each executive department and agency shall bear its own expense for participating in the Council.

This order shall be implemented consistent with applicable law and subject to the availability of appropriations.

This order is not intended to, and does not, create any right or benefit, substantive or procedural, enforceable at law or in equity by any party against the United States, its departments, agencies, or entities, its officers, employees, or agents, or any other person.

So the Council will not add any new costs, create any new rights or benefits, or interfere with any existing law. What's wrong with that?

Pure FoxNews anti-Obama spin of a benign order designed to improve coordination among all the agencies already involved with funding rural development.

Then why even issue the Executive Order? "Hey, you guys have nothing to do. Sit on this new Council I just created. By the way, you have no powers or objectives. Just be on the council."

Don't be so naive. Obama's got something up his sleeve. MSNBC, CNN, et al just take him at his word. Fox looks into it.

Job Growth Where Bush Didn’t Want It - New York Times

And Obama is the big government socialist.

It's ok when the GOP does it, but not when the democrats do.

No, it was definitely not okay. W would have been a good president had it not been for his spending and rampant growth of government.
