Until now. Pelosi is an attention whore. Plus, a president has never abdicated his power to congressional leaders like Barry has.

i agree with what her job is.

however, she took the party much further to the left with those votes, not towards the middle which is the way the rank and file democrat/american public wants. pelosi led her party so far to the left, they paid the price in the last election, and will pay even more if they dont move to the middle. that is reason to lose her job.

her role in setting an agenda that got her party's ass whipped and cost many dems their jobs should cost hers. by voting back into leadership the face of an agenda voters rebelled against is not a smart move, imo.

He hasn't abdicated a bit of presidential power. What nonsense.

What exactly has she done to be an attention whore? What I saw was a republican party propaganda machine that recognized Obama's popularity and declined to fight it head on. They decided instead to elevate Pelosi and Reid into something resembling importance and made them into bogeymen. It worked, too, it was smart politics. But don't start believing the disinformation.

On the other hand, by the GOP elevating her importance publicly, Pelosi became a lightning rod that took hits that otherwise might have struck Obama.

You may be right. But Obama is leading the party and setting the agenda, not Pelosi. She's whipping democrats into line in the house, just like her republican counterparts do. If not her, they will just get another whip . . . one who had better be as good at it as she is.

You are overdosed on the left wing kool aid. Just like Pelosi, you refuse to acknowlege the cornholing that the voters just put on the Dems.

What's that got to do with Pelosi getting elected minority leader? You conveniently forget that Pelosi also put together the 2006 and 2008 efforts that ousted the GOP from the House. The Dems haven't. The democrats are not going to tank their best operators just because the opposition would like to see them go. Especially because the opposition would like to see them go. You fear Grandma for a reason. She's minority leader and still they fear the skirt.

i think she is partly responsible. obama may be the party leader, but i also think the congressional leaders have had a hand in setting that agenda. completely, no. but i believe obama didnt set it 100%.

but even if so, with a public wanting more moderation, for the party to leave in place one responsible for getting the votes for an agenda seen as too liberal is stupid politically. for remaining dems to survive, they must show a party moving to the middle and reinstalling pelosi will show the "dont get it". it could be a politically suicidal move for some.

Yes you said that in 2006 and 2008, too. The Palin/Jindal (Twit and Twat) ticket will be crushed by Obama in 2012.

By 2012, Obama won't be able to beat Foster Sanders.
