Stop with the numbers. He has a few years to go yet and has already said he is planning on "upping his game". And you know that it isn't really about the numbers anyway....it's about the content and purpose.
Here's the kind of thing that drives me nuts about this administration. Back in 2011, we gave $300M in aid to Central America to fight the drug cartels and in a sense, hoping to stem the violence that sends people here and to stop the drugs coming to the US. What a joke. How has it worked? And here we are today..... "The White House announced $254.6 million in new aid for Central American countries today. The money will go toward returning unaccompanied minors who travel to the U.S. illegally to their families and fostering youth centered programs in their home countries, the White House said this afternoon. The assistance to the governments of El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras announced today is in addition to the $130 million in aid the U.S. already provides those countries in economic assistance." What are we doing? Instead of giving them more money, why aren't we deducting aid amount equal to the cost of housing, feeding, and providing medical care to the immigrants that have crossed here illegally?

Deduct it from what? They have no money and neither do their host countries who have to be convinced to take them back. What are we doing? Solving a problem far more cheaply than feeding and housing them in California for a couple of years.
No it isn't. When executive orders are used as a way to circumvent Congress i.e. checks and balances, then numbers have nothing to do with it. And again....he isn't done yet. Let's wait until his term is over before you crow about how low the number is. By his own "pen and phone" plan...."Obama has all but given up on the third branch of government since he lost control of it in 2010: “And I can use that pen to sign executive orders and take executive actions and administrative actions that move the ball forward in helping to make sure our kids are getting the best education possible, making sure that our businesses are getting the kind of support and help they need to grow and advance, to make sure that people are getting the skills that they need to get those jobs that our businesses are creating.” Blasting? Hyperbole much? No idea? Really? By his OWN WORDS, he is planning on the pen to execute laws regarding immigration, gender identity, boost advanced manufacturing, discussion of pay gap, and gun control via NICS for starters. Clearly he has become frustrated with the lack of cooperation with Congress. He is now using a power play to force his point of view. This isn't future, this is very real and what he has already done.
Lol. Deduct it from the over $300 MILLION we are giving them. We are taking their illegal immigrants....why the phuck are we giving them money on top of it? How is the problem being solved? These folks are being released with nothing more than a request to appear. How many will do so? What is the success rate of that process to date? The kids come....they hope to find relatives already here illegally. Their parents will follow. This is a never ending process that sucks money off local economies. Why are WE paying for it?
