I wasn't a liberal until those kinds of people ran me off from the Republican Party. It's only next to people like that that I even look liberal. Those clowns have hi-jacked the GOP and run it into the ground to create a Party of Stupid.
So I saw this last night but was on my way to a concert and didn't feel like messing with it. I did however run through a myriad of different response options. My first was "yeah well how about fuck you" But I'm better than that and there is just too much there to leave on the table. So after a few and by a few I mean many rounds it came to me. This is the classic liberal bullshit. Sling a bunch of insults and just claim the moral high ground. Look, I'm sure you are a nice enough fella, hell you created a drop box and shared a bunch of music with me a while back and I never even asked, that is cool. I find it interesting that in your mind if someone has a different opinion they are stupid, ignorant and without reason! Wait, how's that again? I'm pretty sure that just described what someone with that line of thinking would be called. Oh the irony
And you actually believe that those were Grassley's motives? Like I said before, "Because he said so...." You see, this is the problem with you: You are always saying, "You just watch and see....this is going to happen pretty soon, just you wait and see." Said same thing about the IRS, Benghazi, etc. and nothing. Not one damn thing. Your entire second paragraph is based upon speculation.....at best. So that is what we call employers who actually care about their employees? Do-gooders? That's a very cynical view point you have there, and you are also very incorrect. I just visitied the Kingsdown bedding plant in Mebane, NC a few weeks ago and it is incredible the lengths that they go to in order to make life good for their employees. Want to know why? Because it creates loyalty and those jobs are often passed down from one generation to the next because of it. When I hear of an employer who doesn't take care of their employees I know two things right away: 1) They are clueless when it comes to business: turnover in employees is the single most expensive thing that an employers faces. Time spent training, allowing for mistakes and then paying for those mistakes....repeatedly from turnover in the position.....kills profits faster than just about any other factor. 2) They will not be in business for very long: owning and running a business is a larger responsibility than to only your own pocketbook. By ignoring the needs of their employees they miss this most critical point and eventually fail. Intellectually lame is actually showing a lot of restraint on my part. Get back to me when you actually have something of substance to add to the conversation rather than your usual frothing at the mouth and emotional drivel.

this statement completely surmises the problem. you honestly think that we are hard core liberals and you couldn't be further from the truth, at least for me....I can't speak personally for MLU. and the reason you think this is because your party has turned so hard to the right that it is hard to recognize a moderate when you see one. now, I also happen to know that you are more center of the road than you usually let on, so behind the green curtain I bet YOU don't even believe some of the shit you say. No half way intelligent person could.
I can't speak for MLU but at least for me it does seem that you guys lack the ability to be reasonable when it comes to BO. There were few things that GWB did that I liked, even though I voted for him twice, but when he did do something right I could acknowledge it. And when he made mistakes, I could say, "We are all human and make mistakes." There were certain policies of his that I just deplored and also times when I wondered whether the guy could put together a single cohesive sentence without saying something utterly stupid. Even in retrospect, I've been able to recognize that maybe we shouldn't have judged GWB's foreign policy so harshly because BO continued many of those policies, and that should tell us something. I don't see that kind of rationale from you guys. I know you aren't stupid or ignorant. You guys can make compelling arguments when you want to so I know it's possible. Well, sometimes....in brief spurts, but other than that I often marvel at the vitriol toward this guy. I don't know any of you personally but I would be willing to bet good money that you are good decent people who I would probably enjoy taking in a ballgame and a few beers with. Maybe I am missing something here and, if so, feel free to explain because I truly would love to know.
I just don't like how Obama always has some"ONE" to blame. Rarely see the man take the lead on anything.
