Now that having health insurance is the "law". We won't need Medicare/Medicaid anymore. Do away with that tax. While we are at it. Make retirement accounts mandatory and stop the social security tax. Being forced to buy health insurance and still pay M/M taxes is double jeopardy in my book. And even a retirement fund that averages %1 return is better than SS.

For a list of Fortune 500 companies who pay more than 75% could go on much longer than we have on this forum. This is only Fortune 500 companies, you also have small business owners like myself who pay more than 75% of my employees health insurance. I also pay them a living wage and make contributions to furthering their education after they've been with us for more than a year.
