congress opted out of it because they have an existing health care plan through their employer that meets all the requirements of the ACA. In this regard, at least, they are no different than any other corporation or business that has an existing health care plan that meets all the requirements of the ACA.
Oh but it is that bad. So much more so than most people realize. By the time they do it will be too late. Hell its already too late. The wool has been pulled over so many of your eyes. This thing is destined to fail by design. Then it all collapses into socialized medicine which is what the fucker wanted in the first place. Sucks. This used to be America!
Let's not forget the unions and the democrats donators that got exemptions. That was their reward for political support while the rest of us are supposed to pay. In 2018 insurers will be taxed %40. That will be passed to employers who provide insurance equalling $10,200 on single and $27,500 on families. This will affect %60 of large insurers and also doesn't take into account the rise in medical inflation. The employers are already anticipating the rise and are passing the costs onto the employees in the form of higher premiums, deductibles, copays, and scaling back offerings. This is another way to tax those that have made sacrifices in pay to trade off for health insurance for themselves and their families. Work hard and pay the price for trying to better yourself and family. Vote for a living and reap the benefit at others expense.
You keep wanting to play that card in some fashion or another so let me show you where you can quit putting it on your forehead and trying to build a hand with it. In this case it actually amounts more to special treatment than "exemption" but I'm not going to get into the semantics of it. Anyone interested can read the link below. Last I checked we were their employer.
Bro I love ya but you can "lol" all you want. The wheels come off of this thing if they don't have 7mil enrolled by Apr 1 2014. You and I both know that isn't going to happen. Then the "real" plan goes into effect.
Yep, like a male paying maternity insurance. Yep you read that correctly. Not for your wife or girlfriend. If you are a male you will pay for insurance in case you get pregnant. Yet still you ignorant fucks will defend this marxist till the bitter fucking end.
