    I hate to go back to this, but prove it. I want you to show me the platform of even one pro-life organization that wants to eliminate healthcare fir the poor. I would also like to see a study that shows almost all pro-lifers are proponents of the death penalty and torture. I'm willing to bet you can't.

    There are hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of people who ascribe to the consistent ethic of life.

    i havent been able to find a study yet, but it is curious that the states that like to kill em the most (Tx and FL) are strong pro-life (and vice versa).

    Of course it's curious. An unborn fetus is guilty of existing. A man/woman on death row is guilty of just a little bit more. Not a surprise that you see no difference.

    I don't want to go off on a hijack here, we've covered this in other threads. My comment was mostly about the lifers on this board, whose opinions are documented in the threads.

    Ok, then . . . Attention all pro-lifers on the board! Tell us if you support the death penalty or not.

    For the record, I'm pro-choice and I support the death penalty. No inherent contradiction there.

    I support the death penalty but can see why many Christians would not support it. It isn't a salvation issue.
