My ex has the 1022 and it has the 10 round clip. I have the marlin with 17. Catch them squirrels running limbs and I can make it look like Vietnam up in the tree tops. I plan on waiting for someone to get hard up then I'll get the AR. Factory mag is plenty for me also. The Remington AR style in 270 would be perfect though.

I have a Winchester model 67 .22 short, single-shot rifle that my dad bought in 1936. It is dead accurate over open sights and at short ranges it outperforms the 10-22 with a scope. The classic squirrel rifle.

I found an old Stevens 22 Rolling block with a hex barrel 3 wks ago. Shoulda asked the price. He had a few rolling/falling blocks and 3 had hex barrels. Didn't catch makes. Mid 1900 models. Sweeeet!

"They" will never try to make guns illegal in America. Registration may be coming though. I don't have a huge issue with that, depending on how its done. It doesn't affect law-abiding citizens but gives law enforcement a powerful tool to use against criminals. That seems OK with me.
