You accused me of pulling the race card, its right there in print. If you dont want to apologize like you said you would, just say that instead of making up a bullshyt excuse. You dont have to discuss anything with me, I'll be here to continue to point out your bullshyt, which is quite frequently. It seems like you think you have the upper hand in any issue dealing with race, when you don't, just dont accuse me again of pulling the race card when I bring up race and then say you're "fostering discussion" when you bring up race. Hating Obama has nothing to do with your problem. First you compare me to Cleaver then you call me an angry black man, but no you're no bigot!
seems like there is one pissed attorney and limited information. dont let foxnews yank your chain so easily.
yes, but when it was going on they were dems. so if we go by party affiliation when it actually happened, its not about political affiliation, its about race. and hate.
Obama is a racist. He is a racist in that he sides with blacks over whites instinctively and without fully understanding situations. He did it with that Harvard professor and this is another example. No one will argue that minorities, especially blacks, have been disenfranchised in this country for years and are still the subject of more racism than whites but it doesn't change the fact that our president, along with other politicians of all races, is a racist. If you voted for him and didn't know this, then you are a total buffoon. What bothers me about this is that this is spilling over into voter issues and is being used as a way to gather votes. Who cares if the guy is a racist if it doesn't affect the country but we all saw the video and these guys should have convictions on their recrods. Anyone can see that. This was a political ploy to appease his base and injected with his own prejudice with little regard to what is best for the country or race relations as a whole in our country.
I grew up in McComb, Ms in the sixties. At that time, McComb was labeled as one of the "hot spots" of the south. There was the bombing of black churches all around. There was one white older man who had money and everyone knew it. He would hang around the local pool hall because it was located right across the street from the Greyhound bus station. If he saw freedom riders or anyone "he" thought was a troublesome "yankee", he would pull out a wad of money and there would always be some punk there willing to go pick a fight. Or in one case, destroy a camera some dude had and had used to take pictures when he got off the bus. The rich man is dead and his "favorite" punk spent most of his life in prison. He killed a white friend of mine in his early twenties. One of the men arrested and sentenced to prison lived about three houses up the road from where I lived. He went to prison for the church bombings. Another of these fine gentlemen owned a service station right across the street from where I workded as a bagboy at the local grocery. I used to park my car at his station when I went to town and decided to ride around with other friends. I'm sure with that much circumstancial things, the FBI checked me out too. I had not then and have never since hurt anyone....black or white. There are good in all races and there is trash in all races. I know for a fact that many whites in this area were also very concerned about what was going on. Many felt that whoever was blowing up the black churches, harming innocent people, just might decide that he could extend his vengence on anyone. We did not want trouble anymore than the black man. As Okie said, this "payback" is certainly not the answer to racial problems today. Most decent white men will tell you quick that what went on years ago was deplorable. They are sorry it happened. But was it their fault? Should they be held accountable? Just how much "payback" will be enough. Are we to sit back and say, "My grandfather and great grandfather had better jobs than yours did. So why don't you take my job and I'll take yours. After all, I owe you." And although the black man finally stood up and said "no more," do you really think he did it alone? Many white men helped in many ways. Many laws were passed to help out. The black man did not have the power to do this alone. Does racism still exist? Of course it does. It also exists the other way around. I saw a tag on a young black man's car not too long ago. I was a picture of two hateful looking eyes. The caption? I CAN SEE THE HATE IN YO EYES... Do I know the answer to eliminating racism? If I did, I would be worth a lot of money. But I can tell you one thing. It sure isn't getting in my face and telling me "I owe you." I owe you nothing except the same opportunities I have. I want your respect and hope you want mine. But it is usually earned, no matter which side you stand on. Now, as the choir stands, will you open your hymn books to number 357!!!
Yeah and you guys sound like a bunch of hypocrites. Which is more pathetic? Like i said, sucks when you get a taste of your own whiskey doesn't it. I already said i don't think it's the right thing to do for either party, but it's funny when you and yours start whining when your own crap gets pulled on you.
What is pathetic is your complete lack of grey matter. Why is this "a taste of my own whiskey"? Are you ignorant enough to attribute voter intimidation to me personally or any candidate I have supported(since you don't even know who I have supported)? I would ask again if you are this phucking stupid, but everyone can already see that you are. Since you are incapable of answering a simple question, you should probably go in the corner and play. Grown ups are trying to have a discussion.
