You wanted counterpoints. You got some. Executive orders that begin to erode Constitutional rights infringe on everyone. He's acting like Trump. We don't have a king here in the US. Examples? Seems to me that you are the one who continues to move the stick as I respond. You claimed for instance, that nobody hear had actually read the orders. Willing to admit your error there? I disagree but tit for tat....you sound like everyone in favor of it. And now?
So why don't you come out of the closet and say what you want to say? That we shouldn't be allowed to own weapons. You are just beating around the bush bruh, if you have a stance then own it
1. I have no problem with the executive order, but..... 2. This is the very same guy who said we could keep our doctors under Obamacare. How did that work out? The President was pretty slick on that one, you must admit. Gun control is really a matter of trust. If the trust was there, there would be no one opposed to doing the right thing, but there is not trust, and unfortunately, that condition is pretty much warranted.
I'd like to revisit this part of Obama's plan..... "OBAMA: "We're going to require firearms dealers to report more lost or stolen guns on a timely basis." Why? Because, "At a crosswalk in Philadelphia, a man dressed in a long white mantle stormed Officer Jesse Hartnett's squad car and unloaded a gun at him. Edward Archer, 30, would tell police later that he attacked for ISIS. Archer was armed with a 9mm Glock 17 that was reported stolen in 2013 from the home of a police officer, police said. Archer has been in trouble with the law before over gun violence. He was arrested in 2012 after a domestic dispute. Archer "pulled a small black and silver semiautomatic handgun from his waist and pointed it towards the complainant's stomach while grabbing the complainant's shirt," according to the affidavit for probable cause" So he was using a gun that WAS reported stolen. And despite Obama's call to focus on domestic violence, it's clear that this piece of shit would have gotten a gun no matter what. We're talking 2 guns in two separate crimes and he wasn't licensed to carry either, so clearly, criminals gonna criminal.
Here is the deal. Violence using firearms has two components. People and firearms. By being for firearms (gun) control, you are not for people control. We need to be for people control. Here is how. 1) Anyone convicted of a crime using a firearm: Summary execution 2) Anyone arrested for a a crime, involving a firearm: Incarceration until proven innocent 3) Anyone committing a mass murder (define as you like, 3, 4, or 5, IDC): Summary execution of all next of kin (who should have known trouble was brewing) Spouse, Children, Parents, Siblings, as many as we need. Call this approach "Plan B." Harsh, yes, but if we are really serious, give it a try. At a minimum, no repeat offenders. I am amazed those that are for gun control, seem to completely neglect people control. That is the problem.
Because liberals don't believe in holding people responsible for their actions. Everything is always someone else's fault.
I don't know or care what exactly Obama did. But I do know it doesn't matter at all and gun violence in the United States is pretty much an unsolvable problem.
Discharge of firearms are the leading killer in only 2 states. Arkansas and Arizona. In Louisiana it's Syphillis. Texas is tuberculosis. Florida is HIV.
