It is more obscure to the trained eye, no doubt, but the principal is the same. The example I quoted was real, and I think I can go back to the McNeese game thread and quote it if you make me. Miles put Guice in and threw him a screen on his first college play, and there were gripes that the play was obvious from the personnel used.
My only gripe about that play was the downfield blocking. Anyone who griped because of personnel is a moron. Guice had never played before there was no way anyone could know for a fact that was the play call.
I thought it was too early in the game to even put him in when they could have used LF7 to get themselves a first TD. That's if the game had continued.
