I'm just putting this up for you experts out there. I know we are all estatic of our new offensive identity ... still have the stable of backs ...and in the games we've seen so far, .. some downfield passing by a stellar arm. But .. I'm a bit concerned about the O-Line's pass blocking. Granted, it had little effect on our last two games, but I'm a tad concerned for future games against more powerful defensive fronts. .... or maybe I'm just trying to find something to complain about for a team that is perfect in every way. Cause ..no doubt .. the Tigers are looking dang good this year.
the pass blocking was actually a lot better this game than last game. They had a few slip ups, but for the most part they kept Mett safe, and the few times they did let him down, Mett got rid of the ball or started to run. Was a massive improvement 1 week later.
I thought the pass protection was much improved. Mett also showed that he can scramble when needed and can throw on the run.
I thought they were much better, as well. It could be worse, just look at Alabama. They only managed 103 yards rushing against Western Kentucky and allowed 6 sacks.
