Number of players drafted from the 2011 LSU vs Bama games...

...is currently sitting at 28, and counting.

This year, 16 players from both teams. Big12 has 18, ACC has 17, and the rest of the conferences are bringing up the rear.

A LOT of talent on the field that year.

If my numbers are correct, we're sitting at 45 SEC players with right at 35% of those coming from our two schools.

I believe that 42 guys that played in the 2010 game have been drafted so far. Unbelievable!

 

With free agent contracts, it pretty well covers a two-deep roster.

It's even more amazing some of those players will see the field this year when the two teams meet again.
