On Moreau...Shea from 247 says that he is deciding between Walk-on offer from LSU and full ride from Tulane. I think he needs to make a business decision and pick Tulane. Just being honest given his situation.
I agree. IMO, there are 3 reasons I didn't particularly think he is a good fit for LSU 1) LSU's use of TEs...whether blocking or receiving...'nuff said 2) his rating was awfully bad (1556th best player in the country) but then again some just fall through the cracks to be honest 3) his offer list just as bad....LSU (obviously the services got that wrong), La Tech, Tulane, and Air Force. Personally, if I were to go out on a limb for someone else, I would try to get Brandon Martin, academics and all. I think that guy may very well be the most underrated HS SR around.
Brandon Martin is looking good for LSU currently...I haven't heard plans to sign and place him. He will likely just go straight Juco and be recruited to the 2017 class.
Technically, he committed to Missouri a few weeks ago but probably JUCO. BTW, I posted the expectation and indeed it occured. Prime Prep...Deion Sanders created prep "school" of a few years ago...3 years I think....was shut down by the state of Texas the other day. The last straw was one of the "trustees" embezzling most of their money so they are kaput. That is where Brandon Martin played football this past season and of course where LSU basketball player Jordan Mickey attended his senior season in HS. Nothing but a sham school!
Very familiar with Prime. LSU staff not too worried about the Mizzou commit after seeing him on his official at LSU last weekend. Mizzou knows he can't enroll next year.
The rankings are just that. Everyone looks at the stars. Mills was the lowest rated DB signed that year and one of the lowest rated players overall. Started as a TF. Hawkins was the lowest rated high school OL signed in the class, and will be our starting LOT next season. If the staff wants a kid, no problem.
If LSU can end up with those 3 (Lewis, Weathersby and Dillon), LSU will end up with 12 of the top 206 players in the composite 247 ranking. That's an exceptionally healthy haul. It would also essentially guarantee LSU a top 4 finish in the 247 composite ranking.
Foggy is undecided....get it, crystal ball....foggy. Yeah, it's lame I know but seriously that is what they call it...have the crystal ball with no team associated with it and everything. It's a 24/7 deal related to predictions. Noooooo, you can not have the last 30 seconds of your life back!
that must be new as I have followed 247 the past 2 to 3 years I like their site the best in terms of looking up info on the rankings and seeing predictions/trending.
