Why thank you! I thought I was debating you. And I'm glad you agree that they are all biased.

We already have gun laws. We have mandatory background checks. There are "gun free zones.". It's illegal for convicted felons and insane people to own guns. Any further compromise is giving up a piece of our constitutional rights. Your girlfriend has said if she is elected she will issue an executive order for mandatory gun buybacks.

There is no room for compromise left.

Nonsense. We have to register our cars, planes, boats, and now $150 drones. But not our guns. There is no Constitutional right against gun registration or any gun safety law we enact. Only our right to own guns is protected. That's it.

My girlfriend cares nothing about politics. Oh, you mean Hillary! OK, then you are lying. Clinton said it was worth investigating if "offering" to buy back assault weapons would help reduce the number in circulation. Nothing at all about mandatory buy backs.

Not from a position this ignorant of the Constitution.

Registration of guns won't stop a single killing. We have to register our cars and boats because governments discovered it was a good source of revenue to charge fees to everybody. We do need drivers licenses so they can be revoked or suspended din the cases of drunk and reckless drivers.

I keep a list of the serial numbers of my guns. If one were to be stolen I could report it with the serial number. Same could be done with cars and boats.

Yes, guns can be used as a weapon. How many other things do you have that could be used as deadly weapons? Your knives. Your tire tool. Got an ax or a hatchet? I keep a lenght of steel pipe in my truck to use as a cheater bar in case of a flat tire. Place I buy tires from tightens the lug nuts too tight with the air ratchet. Ever get hit with a steel pipe? Maybe that should be registered too. Probably would be if the government found a way to charge fees. Lots of people have deadly baseball bats. Register them too.

    It will prevent thousands.

Bullshit. We register cars, boats, drones in order to hold owners accountable for them and to enable law enforcement to

That's delusional. Dylan Roof bought his gun legally. He wouldn't have been stopped by having the gun registered. Adam Lanza stole his mother's guns after he killed her. If they had been registered would he have changed his mind about killing school children?

And you don't have to be a right wing nut job to be distrustful of the possibility of government confiscation. All it would take would be for a left wing nutjob to get elected president and appoint a left wing Supreme Court justice or two to tip the balance and make ruling to pervert the Constitution. The NRA would fight every ruling every step of the way throughout the legal process but would lose in the end to the rogue Supreme Court.

There is already a record of the guns I have bought from licensed firearms dealers. The ones I have bought from private individuals are nobody's business but mine.

Fixing the background check system would have prevented both of those. And the NRA is against that, too. Registration makes gun owners more responsible, which will reduce gun deaths. That has been proven many countries. Not just murders, but suicides, gun thefts, illegal sales to minors or felons, or who they allow access to their guns. Just like carry licenses make gun owners more responsible, so would registration of guns.

Thank you for the demonstration of right-wing nut job logic. You could not have said it better. It ignores history, the Constitution, the existence of Congress, and 150 million voters, of course.

So do you contemplate a criminal act or are you just harboring a irrational delusion?

I contemplate a criminal act being perpetrated on me because you left wing nutjobs have taken my guns away.

Scoff if you want but don't say I didn't tell you so when they come for your guns.
