Some Vol fans have told me that if it hadn't been for "Chief" being his DC Phat Phil wouldn't have lasted as long as he did.
It's not so much a matter of my age...I just didn't become a college football fan until I attended LSU in the late 90's-early 00's and got dragged into it despite being raised in a household that hates all things sports-related. It wasn't hard. The environment and emotion is infectious. Had I not decided to go back to school at LSU, I may never have discovered this unholy addiction.
