:geaux::crystal::helmet: I hate CUM, but I'll definitely be rooting for Fla. to put a beatdown on OU. Stoops is about as arrogant as CUM though. Would rather see the NC stay in the SEC. :geauxtige:champs::LSU231:
Chances are neither would have academically qualified at LSU. We've lost several over the years to OU that couldn't go straight to LSU.
I am trying to understand the difference between 62 and 55 when it comes to "style points." There was pretty much no question that OU was going to get into the BCSNCG after a solid W over Mizzou in the CCG. It wasn't like someone was going to take Texas over conference champ OU in the scenario that unfolded this year. Texas' gripe is with the Big-12 tiebreaker, if anything. Going for 62 was classless OU football. No doubt. I hope FU gets the :crystal: FOU
They were going for the record. First team in NCAA history to score 60 points are better in 5 consecutive games. Sounds like one of those off the wall ESPN stats.
Texas has SOME defense. Florida has A LOT more and are from the SEC. OU will finally see some defense from a healthy SEC team. Bradford will finally get to see what it's like to be tackled in the backfield (pocket). He won't have the chance to reel off about 400 chip shots during the game. Florida by two touchdowns.
In Waldo, Florida (the speeding ticket capital of the state), it's about a hundred bucks.... this I know.
I'm looking at Phil Loadholt who committed to LSU out of jr. college, starting on the o-line for the Sooners also. Why are all these kids who don't qualify at LSU playing for Oklahoma? Is it a Big 12 vs. SEC academic standard? I mean, we're not Harvard!
