Sometimes when one does not keep with some teams, they tend to forget why they hate a particular team. Case in point OU. You're up 38-7 then after first 2nd half series, its now 41-7. Now what do you do? Well last time I remember Fresno State coming to Death Valley and leaving beaten 38-6 and when the Tigers had the ball in the redzone with couple minutes left, they take a knee. Miles has done that at least twice. Its called class and sportsmanship. Its one thing to put a game out of reach and maintain that distance but its another to needlessly run the score up. Over to OU, Stoops really irritates me with his running up the score nonsense. Its 41-7 and you go for 3 more TDs? I hope UF (hate them I do) blows OU off the map and joins the ranks of teams like USC, WVU, Boise State and LSU as having hand OU their behinds in a national televised bowl game.
It will be a joy to watch Bob Stoops lose his 3rd straight trip to the national championship game. What a tease he is.
OU fans will argue that it is needed to cement their NC chances with the polls and BCS computers, and this will continue to be an excuse for the Bob Stoopses of the world to run up the score in the future.
This whole mess this year is unbelievable. Three way tie in the Big 12...and they use the BCS ranking for a tie breaker? I call BS. They should take the highest two teams and then use head to head. Now, don't get me wrong, I hate the freakin longhorns as much as the next guy...but what has gone on this year is bullsh*t. WE NEED A STINKING PLAYOFF!
I didn't like it when Stoops went for it on 4th and 5 with about 2 minutes in the half. I quit watching it at that point because I knew it was going to be ugly!
The BCS is as much to blame as anyone for this. It's not OU's fault that "style points" matter to the BCS
:geaux::crystal::helmet: What I really hate about OU is that there's two kids from Alexandria (Alexandria Senior High) on the team, Nic Harris and Chris Brown. Wish both of them were at LSU right now, we could use them both. Especially Harris who is a safety. Brown rushed for over 1,000 yds and at least 18 rushing TD's. LSU recruited both. Being from Central La., it really sucks to see kids like that go somewhere else instead of LSU. Maybe LSU didn't offer, I don't know. Anyway, too bad they ain't Tigers. :geauxtige:champs::helmet:
I have a feeling that "Big Game" Bob is on his way to lose another BCS title game. You'd think the BCS would learn to stop putting tOSU and OU in the title game!
