I am good at that one also!! THat one is to report to the mods a post that is spam or inflamatory! The mod can't read every post all day and this helps them go right to the trouble maker (troll)!
If you report a post you think is questionable, take for example something racist, a moderator will take a look at it and delete it if they believe it is the correct thing to do.
At least I haven't been deleted yet  Thanks for the input! But I don't think, from what I've heard, I'll change my style of how I post. I am what I am... Latest news -- 50/50 on Bo, I wish it was over so I could sleep....You need an icon that supports the Tigers and who cheers for someone else...something like Good Luck Tigers - only with graphics.
ok... I am still uncertain about the stars and reputation points. Anybody care to explain? P.S. I've only been on this site for a few weeks, been an LSU fan since the mid 80's. :geaux:
The stars are an indicator of how good of a reputation you have. Make more quality posts (or just make a fart joke here and there) and someone will contribute positively to your reputation. Come on the message board and be a jerk, and you're likely to receive a negative reputation, resulting in no stars, but red X's. Or you can choose to turn the reputation system off (which I'm not sure if that's an option available to non-contributors or not). You can only give another poster a reputation point if you have contributor status. The better your reputation (indicated by how many stars you have), the more your posts will carry weight and how seriously people will take you. I hope that clears up things.
This is all in theory of course. Everyone knows I am the greatest poster on the board, but I do not have the most stars. So it is not 100% accurate.
damn. i thought you only got stars when you sucked up to mods. oh well. <whisper>i didn't mean any of that stuff i said to them anyway</whisper>
