I held out hope to the end when it ended with us having bases loaded. Good thing place I'm at has monster St Pattys Day party going on, you know the Irish are gonna do good this time of year, but I hope we throw Nola at them tomorrow and he shuts them down cold like he did Tulane, who had #8 batting avg in nation when he faced them

Not looking like Nola will throw anything today unless the weather makes a 180 soon. Would like the Tigers to get that starting rotation down before next weekend though.

given they only have 9 position players, 3 of them starters, for the game tonight, a rain out might be for the best. (appears to be a stomach virus. bad.)

    come on, rain!

LSU baseball team hit by stomach flu with game tonight

The LSU baseball team may be substantially shorthanded for tonight's weekend series finale against Notre Dame after stomach flu hit 17 team members during the night, sending some to the hospital.
LSU Coach Paul Mainieri said 17 team members were affected in varying degrees. Some were taken to the hospital and administered IVs and given medication.
"I've never had anything like this happen before," LSU Coach Paul Mainieri said. "I'm not sure who we'll have available. We'll know more closer to game time."
One player apparently unaffected is freshman righthander Aaron Nola, who is scheduled to be the starting pitcher.
