    That is nuts.

Currently the highest bid is $192.50 by an Arizona State fan. The last bids by Ohio State fans were $185 and $100. He made a whole little diagram showing the bidding history, including the football helmet of the leading bidder here -- http://hosting.ngtechnologies.com/michigan/outbids.html

Here are the pics he has on his main ebay seller page:

You are bidding on the following items:

How little you know of football history.

I am currently reading a biography of Vince Lombardi--you know, the guy who the Super Bowl trophy is named after. Even though he didn't go to ND, his career is studded with influences from Notre Dame. His college head coach (Jim Crowley) was one of the famed "Four Horsemen". His college line coach (Frank Leahy) later became ND's second greatest coach, who won three national titles. The pro team he became famous for coaching was founded by a former ND player (Curly Lambeau), who has his name on the stadium (Lambeau Field). And that's only the first 3 chapters.

Rudy, while a neat story, is probably the least important story in the Notre Dame legend.

In 1966, ND surpassed Princeton as the program that had the greatest all-time win percentage in college football.

ND retained that honor from 1967 to 2003.

Michigan took over from 2004 to today.

Before this season started, the top 3 were:
    Michigan 74.5%
    ND 73.9%
    Texas 71.8%
    (LSU #13 with 64.1%)

    Currently, the top 3 are:

    Mich 74.0%
    ND 73.7%
    Texas 72.0%

Of course, that is just because how great those teams were way back in the day.

If you just look at it from 1950 to before this season started, it is:

    1. Ohio State 75.5%
    2. Oklahoma 75.3%

    6. Michigan 72.1%
    7. Texas 71.8%

    11. ND 68.0%

    19. LSU 64.0%

If you just look at it since 1980 to before this season started:

    1. Miami 79.228%
    2. Nebraska 79.226%

    4. Michigan 75.4%
    5. Ohio St 73.8%

    9. Oklahoma 72.0%

    14. Texas 69.9%

    20. ND 65.4%

    26. LSU 62.8%

I hope Michigan plays in the BCS NC next year so this guy can realize what a loser he is.
