Not sure why we should fear Georgia.

    Georgia is actually a year away from being a true contender for the SEC, but the Juniors and Seniors have SEC Championship rings from 2005.

    I doubt that the Georgia players would mail it in like the Vols have so often done in recent years.

    I think we are arguing at cross purposes here. I don't disagree with anything you said. Georgia is certainly a fine team with a great coach, and to play them in Atlanta would not be my first choice. They are capable of beating any team in the country. My point was simply that both teams have a lot going for them in a contest between the two schools.

    I agree with Chip82. LSU should definately pull for Tennessee. Can we beat Georgia in Atlanta? Absolutely. But I would definately prefer to play Tennessee than Georgia in what would amount to home field advantage for the Bulldogs.

    I suppose you are right.
    I respect what CMR has accomplished @ Georgia.
    I would think that LSU fans are concerned about playing them, in Atlanta also but in return it would seem like Georgia and their fans should have the same concern as well.

    I guess its all relative to one's message board!:lol:
